RICHARD PRYOR - FOUNDER AND CEO
  
RichardPr.jpgPrior to founding Private Flight, Richard was a senior management consultant in the technology and hospitality sectors. He has extensive management experience including: sales and marketing, staff and supplier supervision, company strategies, systems, budgeting, project management, client administration and account management.

 

Also a qualified chef and service manager, Richard has first-hand experience in VIP catering for private aircraft. Previously Chef de Cuisine on board two of the world’s largest privately-owned aircrafts, his role included the organisation, sourcing, delivery and service of food and beverage for his employer, other Heads of State, dignitaries and associated entourages. He has personally trained providers throughout the world, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East and Africa, on the standards required and idiosyncrasies of VIP inflight catering. Richard brings a wealth of expertise to the organisation, along with the excellent relationships he has with a wide range of providers in every continent.    

       

JOHN QUIRK - DIRECTOR
  
JohnQ.jpgJohn Quirk is a partner in strategic investment and advisory company Howard & Company. John acts as a senior management advisor and mentor to a number of companies at various stages of development, often via board representation. John has also been actively involved in considerable merger and acquisition activity. He is also an investor in high tech, high growth companies.
  

John is currently Chairman of SMX Limited and a Director of Kordia, FrameCAD Group, Service Plus, Private Flight and the Optima Corporation. He is also an advisor to the Boards of Simpl Group, Clearpoint and Code Blue. He was previously Chairman of Axon Systems Limited.

 

John has had an extensive career with a number of iconic international ICT companies. Prior to joining Howard & Company he was the Asia Pacific CEO of the UK owned IT and Management consulting company Mi Services Group. Previously he was CEO of the PC reseller and network company Southmark Computers where he led its successful merger into Fujitsu.

 

John is a member of the Institute of Directors, the NZ Venture Capital Association, ICE Angels and the NZ Software Association.

    
MARK LOCKAREFF - ADVISORY BOARD
  
MarkL.jpgMark is an established senior executive, entrepreneur, and investor with a successful 25 year track record of operating, strategic corporate development, venture capital, investment banking, and board of director experience with leading companies in the technology industry.


Mark is currently a Managing Director of Bridge Advisory Partners, an advisory firm he founded in 2008 that provides interim CEO, strategic corporate development, board of director and executive chairman services to high potential venture and private equity backed companies in the consumer Internet, mobile, social gaming and software industries. In this capacity, Mark served as the interim CEO at such companies as ParAccel, Agiliance, and Apptera.

Prior to Bridge Partners, Mark spent eight years in venture capital. Mark was a Venture Partner at Meritech Capital Partners, a $2.6 billion venture capital firm, where he spearheaded investment efforts in the software and Internet industries. Mark’s investments included Facebook, Riverbed, Softricity, AmberPoint, Model N, ProofPoint, Revenue Science, Acopia, Kanisa, and Quigo. Prior to Meritech, Mark was a Founder and Managing Director of GameChange Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm affiliated with Accenture that focused on enterprise software investments. Before GameChange, Mark was VP, Corporate Development at Excite@Home and VP & GM of Classified Advertising for Excite. Prior to Excite, Mark helped create and held executive roles in several Internet and networking companies including Classifieds2000, PlanetID, and Echelon. Earlier in his career, Mark was a technology investment banker with Salomon Brothers. Mark began his career in sales at IBM.

Mark received a B.A.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
